Classes & Programs
Current Class Schedule
Program Overview
Our dance program includes group classes, private lessons, practice sessions, monthly balls and workshops. We also prepare a lot of couples for their wedding dance.
For most students, group classes are the best way to get started in Ballroom dancing, but as you get better a combination of all our activities is the most efficient way to learn.
We teach the most popular partner dances including Rhumba,Cha-cha, Swing, Salsa, Samba, Merengue, Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot and more.
The main focus of our studio is on social dancing, and we place a premium on good lead and follow skills and having a great time. Pricing and Policies | Back to Top of the Page
Practice Parties
Practice what you're dancing and have a great time at our regular dance parties. Our weekly Thursday night practice sessions and monthly Saturday night Balls give you a chance to dance outside of class or private sessions and are a really fun and social way to practice what you learned in your lessons. You also get an opportunity to dance with a variety of people to improve your leading and following skills and, if you're a man, your navigation skills as well.
You also get to see students of all different levels dancing, see what advanced students are up to and see how far you've come by helping newer dancers.
Student performances, line dances, games and occasional teacher demos are all part of the fun. HoursHeld every Thursday evening from 8:00 - 10:00 pm
Held one Saturday evening every month from 8:00 - 11:00 pm

Private Lessons
Private lessons offer detailed, personalized instruction that give you the "feel" for a dance and focus on your specific needs.
Private lessons are a great way to improve your dancing quickly, because the instruction is based on your particular needs, desires and abilities. For those who really want to develop advanced movement and style in their dancing, regular private lessons are basically a necessity, keeping you on track and stopping bad habits before they start.
Private lessons are especially useful when:
you're preparing for a special occasion;
you're having problems with a specific pattern or leading/following;
you're in a hurry to learn;
you can't make one of our regularly scheduled classes;
you want in depth instruction and personal attention that is only
possible in a private lesson HoursEach private lesson is 50 minutes long and is booked by appointment
Available Tuesday though Friday 11 am - 9 pm, weekends by appointment. Rates
The cost for one private lesson is $70 or take advantage of our multi-hour packages. Contact us for further information.

Group Classes
Our group classes introduce steps and technical points, and give you a chance to practice with other dancers.
These group classes welcome people who have NEVER danced before to the world of ballroom dancing. Featuring the most popular Ballroom and Latin dances, these classes introduce you to the basic steps you need to 'survive' on the dance floor. You won't be a pro after these classes, but you will have sense for the "feel" of each dance, and you will have enough material to be able to last-- dance--through an entire song.
Classes begin every month so if you missed the current set, you can still get started soon. Or if you're getting ready for a cruise or a special occasion, or you just can't wait to get started, we'll be happy to take you on with one of our private lesson programs.
What happens next? Our Smooth II and Rhythm II classes! Like any learned skill good dancing comes through repetition. The more you see, hear and practice dancing, the better dancer you will become! Once you've been through the intrductory programs, you're ready to begin our level II classes. At this point we introduce a few more dances like Samba or Viennese Waltz as well as a lot more variety for the dances you already know.
Level II classes focus on either Waltz & Foxtrot (Smooth) or Cha-cha & Rhumba (Rhythm) over 8 weeks of instruction. This allows you to review and make your introdutory steps automatic as well as learn new patterns. We also start to work on more advanced ideas like leading and following, floor craft, and sometimes even a bit of styling. HoursIntroductory Classes
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday at 6 pm & 7 pm (4 week classes)
Saturday at 1 pm (6 week classes)

Wedding Dances
Congratulations! It's best to prepare for your first dance with the same care you give to your invitation, gowns, catering, flowers and music. Start planning at least 6 months prior to your wedding date so that you can choose your special song, the type of dance you want to do, and take lessons before "wedding frenzy" sets in!
Private lessons are best as you will be able to dance exclusively with your fiance and choose your own music. If an orchestra will be playing your first song, we'll help you choose a recorded version to use during lessons and for practicing at home. Or bring us a recording you like and we'll help you determine if it's danceable and which dance best fits the music (Foxtrot? Waltz? Swing?). Your instructor will be happy to make suggestions regarding the music for your first dance.
Tailor your lessons, to your needs and schedule! Private lessons can be purchased singly, in discounted packages or in combination with group classes. We'll help you decide if a choreographed (planned) routine is best for you, or random patterns you choose during your lessons to be done spontaneously during your first dance.
Choosing shoes suitable for dancing is important if you want to move gracefully, so don't hesitate to discuss these matters with your instructor.
Inquire at the studio via phone or at the front desk about having our qualified instructors come and teach a lesson at your wedding. Often times, the people you invite may need a little ice breaker session to get them away from the tables and out on the floor. We'd be happy to send out a group of instructors to perform at your wedding also. It's a perfect form of entertainment for your guests. Rates
